Bubble tea, tea houses, Asian bakeries and dessert shops in this group are usually walk-in, counter-order businesses with a menu board overhead listing sweetness and ice levels you can adjust when ordering. Standard bubble tea customization includes sugar level (0-100%), ice level, and a choice of toppings like boba pearls, pudding or jelly, usually at a small extra charge. Asian bakeries sell items individually with tongs and a tray, cafeteria-style, rather than pre-boxed, and pastries are typically less sweet than Western bakery items. Lines build up quickly after school and in the evening, especially near colleges. Most of these businesses accept cards and mobile pay and skew younger in clientele and atmosphere.

I used to like coming here for two reasons: beard popa plus it’s a good place to study. But today I tried the strawberry matcha and it was one of the most expensive strawberry matchas I’ve ever bought plus the strawberry syrup is SO sweet it’s almost nasty. I asked one of the girls to add more oat milk, still did not save this drink. Also I’m sorry to say it, I understand it’s hard to hire good workers, but these kids they hire are so rude :( it just really brings the entire experience down by a lot. They give you a cold stare from behind the register, it’s just poor basic customer service.

This is such a cute little cafe right in the heart of Irvine. They've got SO many flavors of mochi, gelato that's made in-house, and even Beard Papa's cream puffs! I saw that there was a Dubai chocolate cream puff but didn't get it this time but will have to come back for it. Their matcha drinks are surprisingly really good, we got the double matcha and yuzu matcha tonic, and a strawberry matcha milk snow to share. But OMG this is like blind box heaven. They have so many kinds of Sonny Angels and Smiskis, it was so hard to choose one for my first one! Thanks for reading! ^-^

This cafe is aka (also known as) Beard Papa's. They are one in the same and they are fantastic. The atmosphere inside is always super cheery. I've been here a number of times. They have a whole shelf of blind boxes and other K-pop or K-pop adjacent merch that's impossible to resist and I've set up shop with my laptop a few times and enjoyed my coffee and cream puff while I work. It's a lovely atmosphere and I like to eavesdrop just a little bit on the on the conversational Korean because I'm learning.

This dessert shop is truly a hidden gem! The customer service is outstandingβ€”everyone is so friendly, polite, and efficient. We placed our order quickly and tried a variety of items. The Snow Bowl stood out as the highlight of our visit. We ordered the Mango Snow Bowl, Matcha Snow Bowl, and Taro Snow Bowl, and each one was absolutely delicious! We also tried a couple of their mochis, which were fresh and flavorful. The interior design is charming and cozy, making it a great place to relax. They have adorable cat and flower paintings on the walls, complemented by colorful seatingβ€”a pink sofa, a yellow leather couch, a blue sofa, and some wooden elements that add warmth to the space. It’s Instagram-worthy for sure! One thoughtful touch is the large jar of ice water in the corner, which is perfect for refreshing yourself after indulging in sweet treats. The location is 14310 Culver Dr Suite #E, Irvine, CA 92604, situated in Heritage Plaza. Parking is very convenient as the plaza provides ample parking spaces, so you don’t have to worry about finding a spot even during busy hours. Everything was nearly perfect, but I did have a couple of small concerns. Some items on the menu weren
